JEE Advanced 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
To sit for the JEE Advanced 2022 test and submit an application, you must be a citizen of India or a PIO/OCI or foreign person.
Qualification
Candidates for engineering in JEE Advanced 2022 must have completed the 12th grade or its equivalent in 2022 or 2021 from an accredited institution or board.
Subjects
Aspirants to the JEE Advanced must have majored in chemistry, physics, and mathematics in high school or its equivalent.
Number of attempts
The JEE Advanced test is offered twice a year to eligible candidates. The JEE Advanced test does not enable you to take the exam more than twice.
JEE Mains qualified
JEE Advanced 2022 can only be taken by those who have passed JEE Main 2022.

Candidates must score at least 2,50,000 out of 2,500,000 in the B.E./B.Tech. Paper of the JEE (Main) 2022.
2. Can a student take the JEE Advanced exam more than once?
Two consecutive years is the maximum number of times a candidate may take the JEE Advanced exam. JEE Advanced 2022/2021 aspirants who applied but did not take the test are eligible to reapply for JEE Advanced 2022.
3. How many percentile points do you need to get into JEE Advanced to qualify?
When it comes to class 12 exams, the applicant must get a minimum of 75 percent if he or she is from an OBC background and 65 percent if they are from an SC/ST/PWD background. Class 12th examinations must include physics, chemistry, and mathematics as compulsory subjects.
4. How high of a JEE Advanced rank is needed to get into IIT?
To get into a decent IIT using Jee Advanced, you’ll need a score of 200 or 210 or above. There are only roughly 11,000 seats available in all the IITs, hence the minimum score required to get into any IIT branch is 150-160 (General).
